Jim Kerr guests on ‘Records In My Life

it is with great honour that we present our interview with Jim Kerr on ‘Records In My Life’ from the seminal Scottish band Simple Minds. We met with Jim just after soundcheck when Simple Minds performed at The Orpheum theatre in Vancouver, Canada. The following is only part of the entire interview (see our Patreon page to view it in its entirety) with the affable Mr. Kerr. We touched on early days in Scotland, watching live music, early influences and which album he’d have liked to have been a fly on the wall during its creation. One of our best interviews to date, have a look!

Jim Kerr of Simple Minds on Records In My Life references the following albums:

Simple Minds – Walk Between Worlds
T- Rex – Electric Warrior
David Bowie – Ziggy stardust
Bob Marley – Catch A Fire
Bruce Springsteen – Born To Run
Simple Minds – Once Upon A Time
