Echo Park-based dark-pop duo In The Valley Below have released the 2nd instalment of their two-part video series directed by French avant-garde filmmaker Laurent Michel Moreau. This video is for the haunting track “Palm Tree Fire,” led by the call and return between the male and female leads. Watch the first installment for the track “Take Me Back” below. In The Valley Below is just about to finish up their November Residency at Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater, they will then be embarking on a string of dates with Mates of State. In The Valley Below produce and record their own songs, mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, The Mountain Goats, David Byrne) and vocals tracked by Pete Min (Debbie Harry). Expect their debut EP coming early 2013.
