Iggy Pop has shared “Modern Day Ripoff,” a track off forthcoming album/blue ray Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 2023. The LP celebrates Iggy Pop’s career, a performer that only gathers more raw power year after year. The concert will be available as a Blu-ray+CD Digipak, 2 LP Gatefold, and digital download on January 24th, 2025 worldwide via earMUSIC.

On July 6th, 2023 Iggy Pop returned to the Montreux Jazz Festival backed by a seven-piece band before a capacity crowd at Stravinski Auditorium with a career-spanning set including tracks from his time with The Stooges, his The Idiot and Lust for Life albums, New Values leading up to his recent release Every Loser (where “Modern Day Ripoff” appears in its original studio version).

Says Iggy Pop: “I give something extra every time I do Montreux Jazz… Stravinsky Hall is special, like Carnegie or the Garden or Sydney Opera. I’ve dived in them all.”
