Iceage Share “The Lord’s Favorite”, New Dates
Recognized for challenging their emotions through song and performance and a singular, brooding energy, Iceage, the Danish four-piece comprised of Jakob Tvilling Pless (bass), Dan Kjær Nielsen (drums), Elias Bender Rønnenfelt (vocals/guitar), and Johan Suurballe Wieth (guitar), will return to North America for a month of coast-to-coast touring this fall. Those who witnessed select Iceage shows this past spring have an idea of what the band has been working on for their follow-up to last year’s You’re Nothing. For an early taste, check out the video for new song, “The Lord’s Favorite,”
Directed by Cali DeWitt. Iceage will announce more information to come on their follow-up to You’re Nothing.

Just out of their teens, it seems Copenhagen’s Iceage have only added to the anxiety and tension that made their debut album, New Brigade, so compelling. But now, they’re challenging their raging emotions instead of simply expressing them. You’re Nothing, Iceage’s sophomore album, is the sound of a band pushing their singular mix of punk, Goth, hardcore, and post-punk to even further extremes. It’s overwhelming how many ways Iceage have found to write the short aggressive rock song.
