Following the release of their debut album Fear In Bliss, Horse Thief are set to embark on a tour in the summer of this year. Fear In Bliss was released via Bella Union on April 11th. Listen to “Devil” above.

Horse Thief is a psychedelic folk-rock band that was originally formed in Denton, TX, but moved to Oklahoma City to attend the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. Although initially signed with the Flaming Lips’ management, the band are now signed on to Bella Union. The new album, Fear In Bliss, was recorded in LA which allowed the band to “leave the comfort zone of Oklahoma.” The album was produced by Thom Monahon who has worked with Devendra Banhart and Vetiver.

Throughout February, Horse Thief accompanied label-mates Midlake on their UK / Europe tour. They recently announced their US summer tour with The Paper Kites, dates of the live shows can be found below.
