HEAVY DRAG is a Miami, FL-based foursome formed from the ashes of previous troupe, Lil Daggers. Playing and touring together for the past 5 years, the band has built on their earlier hallucinogenic background into a new slower, simpler form of grunge-y psychedelia which the band simply calls “Bummer”. After sending a batch of new tunes to Travis Keller at the recently revamped Buddyhead Records (The Icarus Line, At The Drive-In,) the band headed back to the studio to document 2 new songs, “LSD” and “Leech” with Ryan Haft (of Capsule) and Jonathan Nunez (of Torche). The sounds that came out of the session are available for all to hear on the “LSD” digital single came out November 25th, 2014 via Buddyhead Records.
