Guided by Voices will release their 29th album Sweating The Plague, as well as their third of the year, on October 25, physically, digital online November 1st. The band will tour behind the album, and of course more, on August 10th, at the Bellwether Festival in Waynesville, OH.

Producer Travis Harrison’s counterintuitive approach to Guided By Voices’ historically lo-fi sound was that he didn’t want it to sound homemade. Sweating The Plague is constructed as a classic 12 song album experience, made to be played loud.
