Multi-media recording artist and producer, Grimes, today shares the official video for Venus Fly. The video, directed and edited by Grimes, also features Janelle Monáe, and is now live on Grimes’ YouTube.

“We used the Phantom cameras to create a feeling of time suspended,” said Grimes of the inspiration behind the video.

Venus Fly is taken from Grimes’ album, Art Angels (Eerie Organization/Crystal Math), which had prime placement on basically every End of Year list, and garnered 2017 JUNO Award nominations for Alternative Album of the Year, and Recording Package of the Year. Her video for Kill vs Maim also received a 2017 JUNO nomination for Video of the Year, and made the Prism Prize’s Top 20. Last year, Grimes toured the album, playing venues and headlining festivals around the world.
