GHOST BEACH On Tour With Robert DeLong
Brooklyn-based duo Ghost Beach will join singer, producer and drummer Robert DeLong for the first half of his North American tour (starting September 3rd in Cleveland, OH), before finishing up several festival dates.
Enlisting the help of engineer Greg Calbi (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bon Iver, MGMT, Tame Impala), Ghost Beach will release a remastered version of standout track, “Miracle” and “Been There Before” (available tomorrow, August 27th). Also part of the single release is the club version of “Miracle” remixed by London-based Nathan C. Listen to “Miracle” above.
With their self-titled debut EP and follow-up EP Modern Tongues, Ghost Beach has started a bit of an Internet buzz. Formed in 2012, the duo of Josh Ocean and Eric “Doc” Mendelsohn have already perfected a blend of retro and futuristic soaring synth pop that can best be described as Tropical Grit Pop.
With upbeat anthems and a preference for ’80s synth, the band left their mark at this year’s SXSW, and have played shows alongside artists including The 1975, The Neighbourhood, Imagine Dragons, St. Lucia and Youngblood Hawke.
