“Get in Girls” by Vitesse X ft: Pearly Drops

Vitesse X shares her latest single, “Get in Girls,” a collaboration featuring indie pop duo Pearly Drops. This song is off Vitesse X’s upcoming album, This Infinite, dropping on on October 4th via Music Website. “Get in Girls” depicts a wild, psychedelic girls’ night out set against the backdrop of a dystopian wasteland. The release coincides with a tech-noir video where Vitesse X is beckoned into cyberspace by Pearly Drops for a psychedelic girls’ night out.

The New York City artist recently announced her highly new album This Infinite, giving fans a taste with singles “Careless” (co-produced with Jack Tatum of Wild Nothing), “Eternal,” and “way i luv.” The album weaves her signature ethereal soundscapes with her roots in indie dream pop.

This Infinite is about more than just escape. Vitesse X’s debut, 2022’s Us Ephemeral, was a tribute to the spiritual vibrations of the club, influenced by ‘90s rave, ambient techno, and Kraftwerk’s Tour de France. On her new album she says “It’s about trusting my gut, It feels like a weight was lifted. It says what it needs to say.” Pushing past injustice, the oppressiveness of a capitalist society, rage, and heartbreak, the record captures Vitesse X in the midst of release. Through the act of creation, she argues on This Infinite, we can make a change, both in ourselves and into ourselves and in the world.
