Gentle Friendly Release New Video for ‘Autumn Nite’
Gentle Friendly have unveiled a new video for ‘Autumn Nite’ which will appear on the band’s forthcoming album. The video was shot by the band on the Aran Islands, Ireland and James Swatton at Swim, London, and edited by GF and Tom Carrell.
Operating with a setup of a Casio keyboard, vocals and drums (sometimes electronic) Gentle Friendly have been compared to Health, Ponytail and FatCat alumni No Age by Uncut, while Pitchfork cited Clipse and Lil Wayne as influences on the band. New track ‘Autumn Nite’ showcases warped and distorted keyboards, urgent yet strangely mournful vocals and propulsive drums. News on the upcoming album to follow shortly.
