FYF Fest Reveals Day Schedules, Transportation Details
This coming Labor Day weekend (Sept 1-2), FYF Fest will return to Los Angeles’ Historic State Park in downtown LA. And with the show just days away, FYF Fest is happy to finally reveal the festival’s two-day schedule. Over the festival’s two days, acts like Refused, Sleigh Bells, Yeasayer, and Turbonegro will grace the festival’s four stages. The previously announced comedy lineup will perform in the Broadway St. tent alongside the festival’s dance and electronic acts, including Glass Candy, Gold Panda, Tanlines, and Dâm-Funk.
FYF Fest is also happy to announce that the L.A. Metro will extend the hours of all their trains to 2:00 a.m. on September 1 and 2 to accommodate the attendees of FYF Fest. Festivalgoers looking to travel to the festival via public transportation will be able to access The Chinatown Gold Line, which is less then 100 yards from the LA State Historic Park. Union Station is also less then a mile away from the festival grounds. And for cyclists, FYF will also be providing secure bike parking in the lot across the street from the festival (College & Spring).
This year’s FYF Fest features its most ambitious lineup to date, with performances by Quicksand, The Faint, James Blake (Live), Yeasayer, Nicolas Jaar (Live), Sleigh Bells, Desaparecidos, Dinosaur Jr, Against Me!, Hot Snakes, Twin Shadow, Chromatics, DJ Harvey, Liars, Paul Banks from Interpol, American Nightmare, Warpaint plus many more, as well as comedians David Cross, Maria Bamford, Jonah Ray, Eric Andre, Neil Hamburger and more. Full lineup is listed alphabetically below.
FYF Fest is all ages and will run from noon until midnight each day. Tickets are currently available at local Los Angeles record stores and select Chilli Beans store locations. For more information visit www.fyffest.com.
