French Horn Rebellion releases New EP
Today, French Horn Rebellion released The Fire EP, featuring alternate versions of the title track “The Fire”, which is a collaboration with Savoir Adore.
Robert from FHR said the following about the “Beaches & Friends” video “As we were watching HBO’s Girls on our couches, hearing our song Beaches and Friends from 2009, we suddenly came to think about that long lost music video we did…. And so we went searching for it. This never came out because we made a decision to release a video for ‘The Twelves Remix’ of the song instead, so this one was put on the shelf. We hope you enjoy watching our younger 2009 versions, as much as we are (and laughing a lot at David’s conquistador ‘stache) !”
French Horn Rebellion are Robert and David Perlick-Molinari, two brothers born and bred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. In 2007, younger brother Robert was playing French horn in the Chicago Civic Orchestra, and decided to make hot beats instead. After telling the conductor that Mahler isn’t fun anymore he asked his bassoon-toting brother, David to join with him. And so it was, a French Horn Rebellion began.
