PONY have returned with one of your favourite songs for the summer of 2024 “Freezer.” The track is accompanied by a vibrant visualizer, and follows the release of their Sophomore Album Velveteen, now available via Take This To Heart Records.

Speaking about the new track, vocalist Sam Bielanski says “Every year spring comes back around and I feel like I’m supposed to experience some kind of rebirth and then I find myself unable to live up to the expectations I create for myself. It’s also a song about feeling lost in my gender identity. Never feeling like I’m able to be the girl I am expected to be because she feels like someone I don’t know.”

In the year since the release of Velveteen PONY have been on the road with bands like Superheaven, Soft Cult, TV Star and L.S. Dunes. On “Freezer,” bassist Christian Beale and drummer Dan Leonardi join Sam and Matty Morand for the first time, representing the band as they can be seen live.
