FKA twigs has today premiered a video for her “Video Girl” single. Directed by Kahlil Joseph, this extended, uncompromising film can be viewed today on Northern Transmissions.

“Video Girl” is taken from FKA twigs’ acclaimed debut album, LP1. The album was released in August on Young Turks and is shortlisted for the 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize, which takes place this evening in London.

In addition, FKA twigs has announced that in advance of her first North American tour, she will make her U.S. late night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 4^th.

Meanwhile, having just completed a sold out UK and European tour, FKA twigs will start her first North American tour on November 6^th to a sold-out show at Washington D.C.’s 930 Club. The run of dates includes sold out shows at the likes of New York’s Terminal 5, the Los Angeles Regent (where she’s sold out two consecutive nights), Chicago’s Metro and Terminal West in Atlanta.
