“Feeling Alive” by Jayda G (Anna Lunoe remix)
Music Producer, DJ and Environmental Toxicologist, Jayda G, has shared the new remix of her latest single “Feeling Alive”, from Australian DJ and producer Anna Lunoe.
The release sees Lunoe dial up the euphoric, classic-house elements that have already made the original a club & festival staple for Jayda over the past year, readying what was an undeniable summer banger into a peak-time dancefloor contender to see us through the cold winter months.
Speaking about the remix, Lunoe says: “The original track drips pure club euphoria so it gave me a really strong intention of what I wanted to do with it! I love the one directional energy of this tune, and playing it out people know instantly what this song can do for them and relax into it straight away. Turn it up.”
Jayda’s also launched her new “Here’s Hoping” podcast this year, with guests including JAGUAR, Elijah, James Corbin, Sam Sutaria, Michaël Brun, Stephanie Yeboah and more including mixed martial-artist Molly McCann-Pearson, adventurer Jide and comedian/actor Gianmarco Soresi.
All of which follows Jayda’s work earlier this year as the host of her debut feature length film “Blue Carbon”, which features additional music from RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) and Brazilian icon Seu Jorge; and accompanying Jayda G single “If We Only Knew”, which drew on field recordings taken throughout the filming process. The film is directed by Emmy/BAFTA-winning filmmaker Nicolas Brown (The Serengeti Rules) is an environmentally-focused musical journey. One that follows Jayda on a quest to understand how Blue Carbon — the term given to three key coastal ecosystems that fringe every continent: seagrass meadows, mangroves and tidal marshes — can help to mitigate the effects of climate change, and how we can protect these fragile ecosystems from further destruction.
