DROWNERS announce UK live dates
Last month, Drowners released their self-titled debut LP, a breezily infectious punk-pop album. Based in NYC, the city’s signature up-all-night energy courses through the album’s veins, although it does bring with it a tinge of sweet melancholy as well.
Comprised of frontman Matt Hitt, Jack Ridley III (guitar, vocals), Erik Lee Snyder (bass), and Lakis E. Pavlou (drums), Drowners will be bringing their kinetic live show – honed by supports with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines, and others – to the UK and Europe this spring. First off, they will be supporting Cage the Elephant, before embarking on a string of their own shows. They will then round it off with a slew of support slots with kindred spirits Skaters in March.
“Drowners” is available now on Frenchkiss Records
