Strawberry Hands is the project of Philadelphia multi- artist Jacob Brunner. His forthcoming LP A Jazz Blessing for the Animal, will drop on September 18, 2026 on Otherly Love Records. Ahead of the LP’s arrival, Strawberry Hands is sharing the single / video for “Dream of Water,” which Brunner describes as: “My ode to Ikkyū Sōjun, the Zen outlaw whose poems on unfettered human nature shocked his more dogmatic contemporaries. It is also an ode to my photographer father, whose bookshelf mashup of Henry Miller, Krishnamurti, and Lee Friedlander nudes forged me into a guerrilla of the sacred profane.”

Brunner has long been a mainstay of the Mid-Atlantic house show circuit as Strawberry Hands, as well as a collaborator with fellow world-builders Weyes Blood, Karl Blau, Frank Hurricane, and Little Wings.
