Damien Jurado has shared an alternative version of “Silver Katherine” off the deluxe version of his album, ‘Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son’. The bonus set of songs that comprises the deluxe version was recorded in the gorgeous Freemond Abbey in Seattle with the help of the Silver Sisters Choir.”Silver Katherine” best portrays this with Jurado’s voice, acoustic guitar, and accompaniment of the choir echoing in Abbey.

Jurado has toured in support of ‘Brothers and Sisters’ for the better part of this year. With his acoustic guitar in tow, he’s zigzagged across the United States and through Europe treating audiences to rare, stripped down versions of the songs. Next February Jurado will employ this sparse setup when opening for Jason Isbell. He’ll also headline in Los Angeles at the Bootleg HiFi before the end of the year.
