Cayucas, just back from a European blitz, have shared a brand new video for their single,”East Coast Girl” today. Directed by Steven Andrew Garcia, the video is a vibrant vision of summer fun. The band plays some pickup basketball, climbs some rocks, and communes with a buffalo head in this charming dispatch from their home state.

Cayucas have a dynamic that just works,” says Garcia. “Zach’s a great songwriter and their talent really shines through on the new album. We all took a road trip to San Luis Obispo, stayed at a hotel together, and worked out one shot at a time.” Of the video’s appealing aesthetic, he says, “I wanted to make something colorful and sharp.”

Cayucas’ debut album, Bigfoot, was released last month on Secretly Canadian.

Fresh off a Primavera set, the band will be on the road across the US and Canada this summer joined by the gently atmospheric JBM and avant-pop scholars Brazos. In August, Cayucas will head back to Europe for a month’s worth of dates across the continent. A full list of shows is below.
