“Bullet” by Ingrown

Ingrown have announced their new record record Idaho, will drop on March 7th via Closed Casket Activities. Along with the LP’s announcement, the band have shared a video for lead single “Bullet.”

Idaho was recorded by Andy Nelson (Jesus Piece, Pain of Truth). The album is a tribute to Ingrown’s home state and the way it’s shaped their lives, so there’s guns, dirt bikes, hell-raising, and the self-reliance that comes from living in a place that’s a little more isolated—but there’s also a real sense of love for their community throughout the record and it gives Idaho a lot of heart.

Ingrown includes vocalist/guitarist Ross Hansen, bassist Gavin McWilliams, and drummer Charlie Ritch–started in 2015. The group released their debut album GUN in 2021 and toured it heavily supporting bands like Trapped Under Ice, Regional Justice Center, Drain, and Pain of Truth.

Recorded with Andy Nelson (Jesus Piece, Pain of Truth, Inclination, Weekend Nachos) at Bricktop Studio In Chicago, Idaho pushes Ingrown’s visceral sonics even further into the red. “Andy understands our band and our sound better than we do sometimes,” says Hansen. “He has an amazing way of capturing a performance in the most precise way possible without losing any rawness or power.”
