“Bonedeep” Madge
Madge and 22TWENTY have shared the new single “Bonedeep”, out today. The song is a searching, late-night dreamscape, akin to something you might hear at a rooftop bar in the afterlife. Layered vocals create a ghostly longing as Madge’s hybrid beat combines influences from across the musical spectrum as the track ultimately surrenders to the unknown. The one-woman DIY-alt-pop project and producer from LA will play an August 30th show with Santigold as part of Salt Lake City’s Twilight Concert Series, and has upcoming gigs in Los Angeles and NYC this September.
Madge is a self-produced artist banishing bros and bloodsuckers. Finding inspiration in Celtic mythology, witchcraft and contemporary spirituality.
“Bonedeep” follows the recent release of “Blueblood (feat. Orrin)”, part hip-hop house banger, part PC-music pop, which Born Music Online praised as “an exciting step to the future.”. The songs are the latest in a string of stand-alone singles to be unveiled as Madge approaches the release of a forthcoming EP, due out in early 2020.
