“Boat Garage” by hey, nothing

hey, nothing, is the duo comprised of Tyler Mabry and Harlow Phillips. The Athens, Georgia duo have released their first new music of 2026, with “Boat Garage.” The band calls the track a “manifestation of nervousness,” as this fun, hard-hitting rock song comes out swinging while depicting a manic anxiety attack that, ultimately, wasn’t about anything at all.

“”Boat Garage” is the manifestation of our anxieties as the world burns deeper and deeper every day. We don’t know what the hell we’re doing or how to help and so instead, we spiral, help less, worry more, look at pictures of dogs on the internet. ‘Boat Garage’ pokes fun at ourselves for asking the question ‘Am I the problem?’, because the answer is both ‘yes’ and ‘no’.”

Mabry and Phillips met as middle school classmates, and soon began making music together at a young age. They were only juniors in high school when their third single “i haunt ur dreams,” went from a teenage joke to a breakout hit. Since then, the band have opened for Cage The Elephant, and appeared at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Pitchfork Paris/London.

Throughout, the duo kept writing new songs at a furious clip. From their 2023 project We’re Starting To Look Like Each Other to 2024’s Maine EP and 2025’s EP 33. hey, nothing are inspired by the sounds of Big Thief, Modern Baseball, and Frightened Rabbit to name a few. Look out for music from the band in 2026.
