Bluffing Premiere Video For “Mind/Mood”

The New York City duo of J Boxer and Olivia Drusin aka BLUFFING premiered a video for “Mind/Mood” yesterday. Directed by William Stewart, Drusin said of the video, “Willie and I go to an art school together in the East Village. I love how totally absurd the images in his photography and video work are, so I told him to run with whatever he felt like doing. On top of that we are good friends, so he was very familiar with the subject matter of the song. Since the song is pretty feminine, Willie and I decided that a more masculine video would compliment it well.

With 10 songs clocking at just 16 minutes BLUFFING’s upcoming debut EP, Sugar Coated Pills Of Wisdom, will be available March 25 on PaperCup Music. The album was recorded at the Silent Barn studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn and engineered by Scott Andrews.

BLUFFING, who perform live as a quartet with a rotating group of friends, have upcoming New York performances February 20 at The Living Gallery, 22 at Emet, 23 at Glasslands, 27 at Pianos and March 1 at Silent Barn. They will make their Philadelphia debut February 21 at Kung Fu Necktie, and play their way down and back to the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas.
