Cary LaScala has played with Jackson United, Wild Party, and Casey Spooner (Fisherspooner), his newest project, Bloody Bananas sees him step into the role of bandleader and frontman. Following a duo of singles released last year, Lascala is back with a new track titled “Bad Taste”, which is inspired by fuzz rock of early-aughts and garage rock. This March, Bloody Bananas hits the road with a run of dates in California, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. “Bad Taste” is off Bloody Bananas forthcoming self-titled EP.

Says Bad Bananas

“Bad Taste switches between dark and pop chords with a dancey payoff in the chorus. When I wrote it, I was feeling dissonance and disenchanted from a bad relationship yet happy to leave all at once.” Said LaScala of the track.
