Blood Orange announces Palo Alto soundtrack
Devonté Hynes – who released the highly acclaimed Cupid Deluxe just last year under the moniker Blood Orange – has scored the major motion picture Palo Alto, Gia Coppola’s adaptation of the book by the film’s star James Franco. The film’s official soundtrack, which features a brand new song from Hynes – the first new track since the release of Cupid Deluxe – will be physically released through Domino on CD/LP onJune 2nd 2014, and is available digitally today. Entitled Palo Alto (Music From The Motion Picture), the soundtrack features Hynes, as well as songs by Coconut Records’ Jason Schwartzman, Rooney’s Robert Schwartzman, Mac Demarco, and more.
