Benny Sings, a Dutch singer, songwriter and producer, blends together influences from AOR, soul, jazz and pop. Known for his distinctive vocal and piano chops, he put his own spin on Drake’s “Passionfruit” to mark his signing with Stones Throw.

Benny says of the “Passionfruit” cover:

“Pop music has always been a goal of mine and I liked the idea of presenting this song in a more old fashioned or conventional way.”

Since 2003, Benny Sings has been releasing his own music and collaborating with artists like Anderson .Paak, Mndsgn, GoldLink, and Mayer Hawthorne. He was featured on Rex Orange County’s 2017 hit “Loving Is Easy” and is the only Dutch artist to date to perform for NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
