Montreal artist Avery Jane, has releases new single “Bakery”. Says Jane on the song: “This song is inspired by an old friendship I had growing up. It sort of reached a point that I got so frustrated by how much love I had for this person and wasn’t getting any back, but I know that time, distance and growing can do that to a relationship. But as an artist, writing is definitely a form of therapy for me so I sat down and just let it all out. It felt so good to record this song, but now I’m really looking forward to letting it go by releasing it into the world. Hopefully it can be cathartic for anyone else missing their highschool friends!”

The track was Produced by Koyo Sur La Prod, the song is filled with unique drum patterns, melodic guitar lines, and tasteful arrangements. During the pandemic, Avery shifted her focus to songwriting, crafting original music that reflects the candid and relatable moments of everyday life. She released her debut single, “April,” in 2020, followed by the acoustic EP Honey Lemon Ginger in 2022 and her full-production EP Hey You in 2023.
