BADBADNOTGOOD returns to share a new double single “Goodbye Blue” / “Glide (Goodbye Blue PT 2).” The release consists of an instrumental and vocal version of the track, the latter of which features frequent collaborator Jonah Yano. The group later revisited the track with Jonah and were inspired by some of the melodies and feeling to create a second instrumental track that would compliment it.

Bassist Chester Hansen expands: “The end of 2018 was the beginning of the first long break from touring that we’ve had basically since we started as a band. It was a time of reflection and the opportunity for us to explore all sorts of things. Goodbye Blue was one of the songs that came out of this. Eventually, we worked some of the melodies and feeling into a second instrumental which felt like it stood on its own, but was definitely a companion piece. We hope that everyone enjoys these two songs and they offer some peace in these troubled times.”

“Goodbye Blue” / “Glide (Goodbye Blue PT 2)” marks BADBADNOTGOOD’s third collaboration with Jonah Yano since 2019’s “Key To Love (Is Understanding)” and “nervous.” Prior to that, BBNG collaborated with Little Dragon on “Tried”, released 2017’s Late Night Tales mix series, and in 2016 gave us their fourth studio album.
