The Sewing Club’s forthcoming album Sew was written between home and the road and recorded with longtime friend Calvin Lauber. Says the band. “we tried our best to never really smooth jagged edges over on the record. Rather than chasing a perfect debut, we made the record we wanted to hear. Sew is less a statement than a snapshot, it’s a band catching itself in the middle of becoming”. Sew drops on October 2nd via Born Losers Records, ahead of the album’s, the band are sharing a new video for “Alright Ok”.

Continues the band: “This track has always been the most fun to play live. It’s probably the most upbeat song on the record. While on tour with Chokecherry it was always the song that got people’s attention/welcomed them to move around. I think that really comes across on the recorded version of the song. We stacked maybe 10-12 guitars. God bless Calvin Lauber for mixing it. The song is about not being on the same page as someone whether it be your partner, a friend, coworker, whatever. We’re not the same but whatever (!) is the energy.”
