The Koreatown Oddity has always made music his own way, “Ragu & Prego” is atrue example of Ktown’s unique style. Beginning with a raised eyebrow and ending in a slow nod, we see him taking aim at and rejecting petty rivalries and competition – through the example of beefing sauce brands – and focusing instead on creativity and personal growth. In the music video, Koreatown is at home rattling off his principles in art filled rooms and with his family by his side.
Ktown was inspired by a scene in the Pixar movie Soul where Dorothea Williams tells a story about a fish looking for the ocean. He says: ‘When the young fish asks another fish “where is it?” the other fish says “you are in it “. The young fish says “nah this is just water I’m looking for the ocean”.’
