They Are Gutting a Body of Water (TAGABOW) have released their collaboration with Horse Jumper of Love on a new single/video “charter spec,” and announce a headline North American tour. “charter spec” is noisy and beautiful, driven by textured guitars and anchored by melody. Doug Dulgarian and HJOL’s Dimitri Giannopoulos’ vocals are gauzy and mesmerizing: “Foreign ceiling // first bird of the morning calls // swollen feelings // don’t appear to know the rules.”
