Pearl & The Oysters have announced their new album Monkey Mind will drop on June 26. The duo’s LP was produced by Jonathan Rado (Father John Misty, The Lemon Twigs, Weyes Blood). Ahead of the album’s arrival, the duo have shared a video for the new single “Doom Mood.”

Taking its title from the Buddhist concept of a restless, looping consciousness, the record follows the mind across the span of a day – P&TO drew on their own “monkey minds” to write the album in a matter of weeks, using music as a way to process their worry. With the help of producer Jonathan Rado, they followed a “primal and direct” instinct, recording straight to tape with minimal overdubs.
