Genesis Owusu is back with new single “Life Keeps Going,” the track is off his forthcoming album Redstar Wu & The Worldwide Scourge, available May 15 via Ourness. Owusu muses on time and the motions of life, choosing to find strength and inspiration in their relentless, disobedient nature. The accompanying music video was filmed in Ghana’s expansive Black Star Square – built for independence, steeped in national unity.

“The world hasn’t ended yet,” notes Owusu. “We’re still moving, we’re still jumping, we’re still living, and so we shall continue. Through rain, shine, exploitation and warfare. We, the people, will always stubbornly persist, and hopefully persist hand in hand.”

Owusu has played shows with Tame Impala, Paramore, and many more. He’s also appeared at some of the world’s most iconic festivals and venues including Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, Austin City Limits, and Boston Calling, and headlined sold-out performances at Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall with Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
