fanclubwallet debuts new single “Moving Unison”

fanclubwallet has released a new single and video, “Moving Unison.” The project of Hannah Judge, is out today via Lauren Records. “Moving Unison” is fanclubwallet’s first-ever love song. The lyrics came to Judge as she was driving on the highway. The track also marks the first fanclubwallet collaboration with producer Pat Linehan.
Along with the new track, fanclubwallet has announced a new run of North American tour dates including stops in Boise, ID at Treefort Music Fest, Los Angeles, New York City and more.
“I wondered if most of the people in the carpool lane are lovers, and how when you’re with someone your life becomes so intertwined,” says Judge. “I also was thinking of the Who’s Line Is It Anyway? game ‘Helping Hands,’ where one person puts their hands behind their back and the other person stands behind them and becomes their arms. I think that’s kind of a metaphor for relationships in a funny way,” says Judge.
Judge is a longtime champion of Ottawa’s local music scene. Even before making music herself, Hannah was immersed in the community; sharing mix CDs, cold-emailing bands for opening slots, and building friendships wherever she could. In 2020, she began quietly recording demos in her bedroom, eventually launching fanclubwallet at the height of the pandemic.
fanclubwallet has toured with CHVRCHES, Yot Club, and Dream Ivory. She runs Club Records, an Ottawa-based label and free resource hub dedicated to supporting independent musicians
