Ally Evenson has released a new video for “Turning Turning,” the track is off the artist’s forthcoming album, SPEED KILLS, dropping on February 20th. Says Evanson: “This song is a little whimsical tune about self-reflection and letting things happen,” shares Ally. “Trying to control your surroundings is so exhausting and almost impossible.” “Turning Turning” follows previous singles, “Phetamines,” “Strawberry,” and most recently “AFO.” SPEED KILLS is inspired by the music of Liz Phair, Sparklehorse, and more.

Ally released her debut LP BLUE SUPER LOVE, in 2024. Along the way, she’s toured with artists including Wallice, daffo, and Japanese House.

Growing up in Detroit, Ally cultivated a lifelong passion for music as a kid. Graduating from the Detroit Institute of Music Education, she independently built a devout audience with the In My Dreams, You Laugh At Me EP, highlighted by “Good Morning, Al” and “I Can’t Feel (My Body).” 2024, the artist released her full-length debut LP, BLUE SUPER LOVE.
