Manchester’s finest export Westside Cowboy have dropped new single/video, “Can’t See,” the track is off their forthcoming EP, So Much Country ‘Till We Get There, available January 16th via Island Records’ Imprint Adventure Recordings. Along with the new music, the group have announced a 2026 European tour supporting Geese. “Can’t See” follows lead single “Don’t Throw Rocks.”

Following support tours with Blondshell, Black Country, New Road, and Ezra Furman, Westside Cowboy will make their debut North American debut in NYC and LA this December. Following, they’ll play across Europe before embarking on a mammoth tour with Geese this coming spring.

Midnight Cowboy on “Can’t See:”

“This was day 1 in the studio and the first song to get ripped apart and put back together! It’s a short one, but we feel like we fit everything in: a riff, some verses, some choruses, Conga breakdown and some other stuff. We like songs that feel like they are going somewhere, cycling, driving, pogoing, but this one’s definitely a runner. Whether that’s towards you or with you, I guess that would be up to the listener to decide.”

Reuben Haycocks, Paddy Murphy and Aoife Anson-O’Connell didn’t have anything specific in mind when Jimmy Bradbury asked them if they fancied starting a band called Westside Cowboy during his shift at a music shop. It turned out that all four Cowboys found something inspiring in early rock’n’roll, as well as more recent work that drew upon a similar spirit. Soon enough, they got themselves into a room and started learning a few covers, but after a couple of sessions, a flurry of their own Westside Cowboy songs burst out all at once. Within two weeks, they’d written and arranged all five songs from what would become This Better Be Something Great.
