My Violence the project of Silvia Ryder, also known for her work as one half of the Sugarplum Fairies, has released a video for “Isabella Rossellini” the track is off her new album Monday’s Child, now available via Starfish Records.

“Isabella Rossellini,” captures the album’s emotional undercurrent with spellbinding clarity. A cinematic tapestry of infatuation, betrayal, loneliness, and devotion, the song feels tender and surreal in equal measure. Its slow, deliberate pulse and whispered delivery evoke a kind of haunted devotion, where love’s allure and destruction intertwine.

Out today via Starfish Records, Monday’s Child sees Ryder deepen her exploration of noir-toned melancholia and dreamlike emotional states. Inspired by the 19th-century English fortune-telling nursery rhyme from which it takes its name. Produced and mixed by Marlon Rabenreither (aka Gold Star), the album drifts between enigmatic shoegaze haze, slowcore restraint, and smoky cinematic textures reminiscent of Low and Mazzy Star.
