Telescreens, have announced they have signed with +1 Records, to usher in the band’s new era, the band have released their first new track “Nothing,” The single arrives backed by two B-sides, “Gimme All You Got” and “Alcoholism.” “Nothing,” is accompanied by a video directed by Jack Cohen and Monty Hamm. The band will be heading out for a run of live dates, starting October 30th in Detroit, Michigan, the run, includes, dates with Sir Chloe.

The new music mark the first taste of new music since Telescreens 2024 album 7. Sonically, “Nothing” channels the raw power of classic rock through a distinctly modern lens – heavy guitar anthems and soaring, revelation-like choruses meet the kind of emotional pull that defines great rock ballads. The single captures the band’s knack for balancing nostalgia and innovation, merging walls of sound with intricate melodic detail.

Lyrically, “Nothing” digs into themes of burnout, loss, and disillusionment. “Your will is gone, call it off – all your friends have given it up,” sings frontman Jackson Hamm offering a glimpse into Telescreens’ blend of surreal storytelling and lived experience. It’s a song that feels both inward-looking and widescreen, tracing personal emotion through the noise of a restless world.
