Lucrecia Dalt has dropped new single “no death no danger,” the track is off the artist’s forthcoming album, A Danger to Ourselves, available September 5th via on RVNG Intl. Along with the new track Dalt has announced new North American tour dates. “no death no danger
follows “cosa rara (ft. David Sylvian),” “divina,” and “caes (ft. Camille Mandoki),” “no death no danger” features Dalt speak-singing over verses before Eliana Joy’s backing vocals. “no death no danger” is Paired with a video conceptualized by Dalt and directed by Southwestern filmmaker Tony Lowe.

A Danger to Ourselves is a reflection on the complexities of human connection. Stripping away fictional narratives present on the artist’s last several albums, A Danger to Ourselves arrives from a place of emotional sincerity. “In the past, I often turned to movies and texts as mirrors to shape my stories, guiding me away from revealing too much from within, inventing isolated fictions,” notes Dalt. “This time, I wanted to create music that flows cinematically and sets a landscape to tell a love story that flirts with improbability, the miraculous and the mysterious.”

A Danger to Ourselves came together while on tour for ¡Ay! and during the formative moments of a new relationship. Each composition is an indicator of vulnerability where Dalt’s voice embodies revelation across new territories. aAdditional collaborators include Juana Molina, Camille Mandoki, and Eliana Joy.
