Sigrid will release her new album There’s Always More That I Could Say, October 24, 2025, via Island Records. Written and co-produced with a renewed sense of creative freedom, Sigrid also shares new single “Fort Knox.” Recorded in a rustic studio by the harbour in Bergen — the same creative home where much of her Sucker Punch album was made — “Fort Knox” is built around a pulsing synth bass and the unfiltered energy of Sigrid’s handheld vocal take. Channeling the rage that comes from heartbreak, the title nods to the famous U.S. military vault, a metaphor for the emotional armor we put up after being hurt.

After two sold-out world tours, including performing on Glastonbury’s The Other Stage, headlining London’s OVO Wembley Arena, Sigrid found herself in 2024 needing a reset. She stepped away from the pressure of “content culture” in writing rooms to rediscover the joy of making music simply for the love of it. Solo trips to remote parts of Norway, festival stages in South America, and cathartic late-night sessions with her band reignited her creative spark. Removing the pressure and embracing instinct – Sigrid started writing what felt good in the room, and “Fort Knox” and “Jellyfish” are the result of this headspace. Ed Sheeran also invited Sigrid to play to 28,000 fans at Ullevaal Stadium in her home of Oslo.
