Wind walkers have announced their new EP I Don’t Belong Here, will drop on October 3 via Fearless Records . Along with the news, the band have shared new single “S i l k & S t a t i c,” along with a video. The band start their North American tour on August 8th in St. Louis, MO.

When asked about the inspiration behind the track, Wind Walker vocalist Trevor Borg shared: “Writing “Silk & Static” was like staring into a mirror and unpacking every frustrating thing about myself. It came from a place of not understanding why my mind felt so chaotic all the time and why I kept getting in my own way. After recently being diagnosed with ADHD, the pieces started falling into place, and it shed a different light on the song. It was very eye-opening in the fact that I wasn’t alone, and that this kind of internal noise or “static” is something others live with too. At its core, I wrote this song to offer comfort to people who can relate to feeling overwhelmed and misunderstood, while trying to make sense of themselves.”
