Chat Pile played Roadburn 2023—their biggest show to date, in front of a packed room of 3,000 on the festival’s main stage. Fresh off the release of God’s Country, the Oklahoma quartet brought sludgy noise rock to Tilburg for their first-ever European performance. The set was recorded by the Roadburn staff and later remixed by the band’s longtime engineer, Jared Stimpfl, capturing the full weight of the performance.

Bassist Stin explains: “While our Roadburn performance wasn’t the most polished, we hope fans will get a kick out of experiencing the nerves and excitement we felt on stage playing in front of the radically largest audience we’d ever played to at that point in the band’s history. It’s a raw chronicling of a very important moment in our lives and we’re very excited to share it with you.”

Live at Roadburn is streaming on digital platforms now and is available from the band directly at Roadburn ahead of their Saturday, April 19 main stage performance. Additionally, vinyl will be available for Flenser Subscription Series 7 and will be available worldwide on vinyl at a later date in 2025.
