Les Hay Babies have released a new music video for “Some People,” the track is off the trio’s album Tintamarre, which dropped in the fall of 2024 via Simone Records. The video accompanying the track features a young guy captivated by a song playing in his living room (spoiler alert, it’s Some People). He bursts out of his room, descends the stairs, cranks up the sound system – and dances wildly, imagining himself with an audience. Until his mother intervenes – in her PJs – to join in the fun! The band head out on a Canadian tour, starting March 13th in Ottawa.

Whether they’re heading to L.A. to make movies, Brussels or Dublin for a beer, Moncton to get to Halifax, or Nashville to become a star. But as the girls remind us, wherever you go, don’t forget where you come from – while some chase fame, others prefer to stay away from the big city and catch up on news at the local bar.
