Young Turks To Release Quirke's Acid Beth EP

This week Young Turks announced the signing of Quirke, and they have shared his debut EP ahead of it’s release on May 19th.

David Kennedy (Pearson Sound) sent them some music a while ago that he’d been playing by an artist called Josh Sixty. After meeting up at Andrew Ashong’s debut show, Josh got to work on his debut release for them. Josh is a Carpentar by day and music producer by night, living close to their offices in London Fields (and on the same street as FKA Twigg’s band), it was all a natural fit.

Inspired by the rhythmic, clattering sounds of the industrial machines that soundtrack his Day, Quirke produces a blend of acoustic and electronic music. From the frenetic, driving rhythem of “Break A Mirrored Leg” to the modern classical piano on “Acid Beth”.
