Shoreless Kid’/’Youth Is Wasted On The Young’ were recorded during the 2011 holiday season and marks the first Young Galaxy recordings to feature the band’s newest members, Andrea Silver and Matthew Shapiro. The songs were largely recorded live off the floor without major overdubbing in Montreal’s Treatment Room studio with engineer/mixer Graham Lessard.

Young Galaxy are currently in Sweden recording their next LP with acclaimed producer Dan Lissvik who produced the band’s Polaris Music Prize long-listed Shapeshifting.
