Yonatan Gat releases new live video

Yonatan Gat Shares New Live in São Paulo Video

Yonatan Gat and his band are known for their live performances, which takes place from inside the audience and is heavily improvised, ensuring that no two shows are the same. Feeding off of each other’s energy and the energy of the crowd, their sets are raw, intense, and emotionally-charged.

Now, fans can experience the band’s epic, high-energy show with a new live video, shot in a living room in São Paulo, Brazil. The first high-quality live footage of Yonatan, bassist Sergio Sayeg, and drummer Gal Lazer, you can watch the video which premiered earlier today.

Yonatan & his band are currently on tour in support of their new Steve Albini-recorded EP, Physical Copy. Released in September via Joyful Noise, it comes as a follow-up to this year’s Director, but explores a different, more aggressive mood. Lazer’s hectic drum grooves are repetitive but maximalist, spastic and lightning-fast, anchored by Sayeg’s gliding synth-like bass, while Gat’s cross-genre guitar blends in and out – improvised, wild and unpredictable.
