Chicago psych-pop band YAWN will release it’s new Day Trip EP on August 21st via FeelTrip Records & Old Flame Records. Today, the band has shared the title track, “Day Trip.”

YAWN mixes off-kilter psychedelia with pop hooks for a sound that’s simultaneously unconventional and accessible. The band’s own brand of electro-infused psych pop features buzzing guitars, warbling synth, and hazy, blissed-out melodies. Their live show has landed them tours with bands like Tame Impala, The Kooks, Yuck, and Mates of State.
