Despite the end of the holiday season, UK band The Crookes have released a colorful and festive video for their latest single off their forthcoming release, Lucky Ones, entitled “The World Is Waiting”. Lucky Ones comes out on January 29th via Modern Outsider in North America, Anywhere Records in the UK/Europe. The Crookes will tour the UK in February, followed by North American dates in March.

The Crookes last performed in North America at the CMJ Music Marathon in 2014, leading The New York Times to say, “The Crookes prize taut song construction; reaching back along the rock timeline, toward The Beatles by way of The Smiths. Their tactics were old-fashioned, but the youthful fervour was real,” and Paste to state, “The first track reeled me in, but it was the Sheffield band’s lyricism that held my attention for the rest of the set.” A return to North America will be announced in the coming weeks.
