Still Woozy "Lava"

Sven Gamsky AKA: Still Woozy, has shared his new single “Lava,” taken from his debut EP Lately, due for release on May 3rd. The track follows his first five solo singles that have racked up over 30 million streams on Spotify, including crowd favourite “Goodie Bag.”

Explaining the meaning behind “Lava,” Gamsky says:

“I wrote lava after getting in a fight with the person I love. You feel multiple things in these moments, you feel the hurt and frustration of the fight, but you also feel the underlying love like an undercurrent that guides you back to you senses and your person.”

After serving as the guitarist and vocalist in a math rock band, Gamsky opted for more musical control as a solo artist. Recording all of his music in his garage using a homemade setup of guitars, pianos, drum pads and more, he began to release songs onto the internet and watched his funky, euphoric sound accumulate millions of listens.

The new single arrives ahead of Still Woozy embarking on a tour through the US and Europe, including performances at both weekends of Coachella, Paris’ Oberkampf Festival and Governor’s Ball in May. Then Lollapalooza and Outside Lands in San Francisco with tickets available at Gamsky’s first solo performance came in December of last year, followed by a few support slots to a fully sold out American tour.
